Technical policy, not legal permission: the lifecycle is implemented and tested with synthetic or public research evidence. Institution-specific authority, notices, agreements, accessibility, state law, guardian permission, learner assent, and Deaf-led governance remain required before any real-student program.

Use the product without building a profile.
Private sessions are the default. Raw camera video and audio are not retained by the current runtime.

Store only authorized, bounded learning state.
A learner-selected support preference or misconception can be represented without inferring a diagnosis from signing, English quality, or an AI guess.

Model contribution
Contribution is separate, revocable, and purpose-bound.
The verified internal pipeline uses minimized synthetic text repair records. Any future visual-ASL program needs separate governance and authorization before real collection.

The asset compounds only while permission survives.
