Contact

Start with the question you need to answer.

Sign First is currently a controlled research and stakeholder-demonstration platform. Conversations should begin with the audience, academic risk, and evidence required—not a generic deployment promise.

12 / A useful conversation

Schools, families, researchers, and technical partners need different evidence and different next steps.

01

Schools

Define the educational decision and governance boundary.

Identify the age range, academic context, current access path, institutional controls, and evidence that would be required before any pilot discussion.

02

Researchers

Define the claim and independent evaluation set.

Recognition, selective intervention, answer assurance, usability, and learning outcomes are different claims and should not share weak proxy evidence.

03

Technology providers

Define the adapter and the output contract.

A candidate integration needs programmatic access, permitted use, privacy controls, provenance, output semantics, and an independently testable failure surface.

Prepare the conversation

Send a bounded stakeholder brief.

This path records adult stakeholder contact information in the ASD-owned Sign First project. Do not include a student name, record, diagnosis, or signed-language sample.
